Rio 2016 – MTC’s 7th Olympic Games and another outstanding success for our clients along with Team GB.

Sustaining performance is at the heart of many of our clients’ inspirational talks delivered regularly to corporate audiences and we were proud to be in Brazil to see 3 MTC gold medallists and a bronze and some equally stellar performances in the media coverage that enthralled a nation. Highlights that illustrate the variety included Jonathan Edwards hosting Usain Bolt and the Jamaican BOA press conference, Simon Brotherton’s outstanding commentary from the Velodrome and indeed all cycling output and Helen Glover retaining her Gold medal in the coxless pairs after an undefeated 4 year cycle.

FAST, HIGH & STRONG

The nation’s love for the Olympics after London 2012 hit new heights- as did the appreciation of the influence and commercial value of its performers and Rio’s unprecedented success has reinforced this further. Whilst MTC has expanded into other fields around content development, the Games and their key sports define who we are more than any other agency not least as our Olympic journey began in 1992, representing Sally Gunnell as she secured her place in the public’s hearts with her Gold in Barcelona. Across these 7 Summer Games, we’ve represented 18 Gold medallists and 36 medallists overall, including British sporting icons Jonathan Edwards, Colin Jackson and Steve Backley, as well as the likes of Denise Lewis and James Cracknell in their gold medal winning years and Bradley Wiggins in his historic 2012.

A look at our client list will show the highest-calibre of names, many of whom we’ve supported since they were juniors. We’ve overseen their post sports career transition into the world of corporate speaking and the development of their successful media careers.

We provide on-going consultation services to many top-tier Olympic partners – and have nurtured and maintained vital long term close working relationships with the British Olympic Association, Paralympics GB and federations, agents and athletes.

BEYOND THE FINISHING LINE

Our network of talent extends beyond our client list either directly with ex athletes or their representatives and we are happy to take briefs to deliver talent, events or experiences or campaign activation that leverages the very best values our Olympic talent can deliver
