MEET THE TEAM

JONATHAN MARKS - MANAGING DIRECTOR jonathan@mtc-uk.com
Jonathan is considered one of the most seasoned, respected commercial sports and licensing agents in the UK. He has worked with and represented many of the nation’s biggest names since founding MTC in the early 1990s.
Emerging from a successful career in retail, manufacturing and licensing with Marks & Spencer, he has approached management from a very different angle, with a constant focus on results-driven sponsorship that is sharpened by his passion for product and sales.
Jonathan’s commitment to the clients he works with across his management and consultancy responsibilities has afforded him the privilege of working with talent throughout their time with MTC, from the early stages in their careers, through their growing success and ultimately playing an integral part in their achievements.
He would hope his epitaph would include breaking the clichéd views of sports management by working closely and in genuine partnership with sponsors and broadcasters (but hopes that his two children Leo (8) and Charlotte (6) will pursue proper careers when they grow up).

GERALDINE WOODS - DIRECTOR OF MEDIA geraldine@mtc-uk.com
Geraldine joined MTC to take up the position of Director of Media from The Roseman Organisation where she managed some of the biggest names in television and radio.
Throughout a long career in television production and management she has worked with some of the country's most gifted and recognisable names in both production and on screen. She joined an embryonic 'THIS MORNING' programme from BBC radio to produce the Phone-In when the show was commissioned for a year. She finally said goodbye ten years later as Managing Editor. Five years followed as Deputy Director of Broadcasting for LWT where she commissioned news and regional programmes for the London region.
With this rare combination of genuine and relevant experience, the affection and respect of key players in the industry and a passion for developing talent, Geraldine is looking to add these ingredients to the MTC mix and build a unique offer in media management, whilst enhancing the current client list.

After university, Suzy started her career in the media industry as an Account Manager at top news and picture agency Splash News, where she gained a great understanding of the media and entertainment industry. Suzy left Splash to return to the world of sport and joined MTC in the summer of 2005. With 6 years working in the media and sports marketing arena, Suzy combines a broad knowledge of marketing, communications and sponsorship with a wealth of experience in managing and developing talent.

FIONA HEWLETT - TV AGENT fiona@mtc-uk.com
Fiona has been in the TV business for almost 13 years, starting as a humble temp for the Editor of legendary current affairs show World In Action. After stints working at Granada TV and LWT, Fiona started her career in talent management back in 2004 when she joined the team at John Noel Management, helping to look after such luminaries as Russell Brand, Leigh Francis and Davina McCall. After moving on to The Roseman Organisation, where Fiona worked for 4 years with TV stalwarts such as Penny Smith, Nicky Campbell and Kate Garraway, she then joined the MTC team in November 2009.
Fiona is thrilled to be part of the ever-expanding TV division at MTC, developing exciting new talent along with working on the careers of MTC's more established faces. ANDY GOULDSON - ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, COMMERCIAL/MANAGEMENT andy@mtc-uk.com
Andy is responsible for the day-to-day management of MTC clients, coordinating their media activity and contractual appearances, as well as assisting on their commercial and corporate speaking activity.
On finishing university, Andy spent some time working for the prestigious Royal St Georges Golf club in his home town of Sandwich before embarking on a career in Recruitment. Following 18 months in the recruitment jungle, Andy realised he needed to pursue his passion for sport and joined the MTC team in the summer of 2009. A sporting aficionado, he prides himself in providing the team with regular updates on all things sport!
Andy is an avid Newcastle United fan (for his sins) and having slipped through the net like so many teenage footballers, can still be seen gracing the playing fields every Saturday in the Wimbledon and District Premier League for Union FC!

GREG KIRKPATRICK - ASSISTANT, COMMERCIAL/MANAGEMENT office@mtc-uk.com
As assistant to the Commercial/Management division of MTC, Greg's role is wide and varied. From being the first point of contact to managing invitations, fan and charity requests to providing administrative support, Greg is on top of it all.
A promising footballer, Greg signed forms for West Ham at the tender age of 7 where he was to spend the next decade of his life (on the treatment table) prior to going to university. Once at university, Greg was to be found on the infamous table at the library pretending to study all things sporting and became decorated by the English Institute of Sport. Since university, Greg can now be seen on the famous table at MTC helping to organise the office, the clients and most importantly, the founder member of the now defunct institution Dressing Gown Friday! He is also the proud holder of the MTC Beat the Intro trophy, until next time...
