Athletes Triumph In Stockholm
MTC talent Jenny Meadows, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Harry Aikines Aryeetey competed for GB in the European Team Championships from Stockholm.
A group of MTCs athletes were competing in Stockholm over the weekend, battling on the track.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey competed in the 4x100m team who finished in a well deserved first place. Harry produced a blistering run to bring the team home in a time of 38.60 seconds.
Perri Shakes-Drayton, who came 3rd in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.06 seconds, ran an outstanding last leg in the 4x400m relay final. Her spilt of 50.6 seconds brought the team home in second place, narrowly missing first, in a time of 3minutes 27seconds.
Jenny Meadows, Britain's world and European bronze medallist, continued her fantastic start to the season, finished second in the 800m with a time of 1 minute 59 seconds in a world class field.
