Brad Victorious In Time Trial
Bradley Wiggins produced a fantastic performance to take a stage victory in the Volta ao Algarve Time Trail.
Bradley produced a sensational ride on the 25.8 kilometre course, taking a notable scalp in the form of world time trial champion Tony Martin, to win the final stage of the tour.
Bradley produced a solid performance throughout the tour to finish on the podium, coming 3rd in the general classification. Brads victory in the time trial rounded off an extraordinary week for Team Sky.
Unsurprisingly, Brad was delighted with his and team Sky's performance:
"We knew training this winter had gone really well but until you actually put it into practice in the first race of the season you are never quite sure where you are at."
"It obviously went better than we'd all anticipated and it was great to start the season off that way; not only individually but as a team too - I think the way we rode together made us the dominant force."
