Bradley Launches New Book

‘On tour’ reveals the ups and downs of Bradley’s 2010 Tour de France campaign

A departure from standard Tour de France books, On Tour offers a unique stage-by-stage guide through Bradleys eyes, focussing on the pressures that come with being billed as Great Britain's greatest chance of earning a podium spot at the greatest cycling event on earth.

His diary is accompanied by Scott Mitchell's grainy black & white photographs which give a kind of timeless feel over the book, encapsulating Bradley's story from the depths of northern France to the peaks of the Pyrenees all the way to Paris. Mitchell, a Photographer whose past portfolio consisted mainly of abstract photography, was granted special dispensation to closely follow Brad and the rest of Team Sky which meant he was able to produce imagery that has been largely unseen until now.

Also included are a fascinating series of mini essays, covering subjects as diverse as Lance Armstrong to the unsung heroes of the peloton.

A 2 page spread towards the middle of the book reveals Bradley's playlist which was played on loop throughout the 2235 mile journey. Favourites include hits by Oasis, King's of Leon and Paul Weller, which inspired him throughout the whole of last July.

A real insight, On Tour is a must read for any cycling fan.
