Bradley Impresses In Giro d'Italia
Bradley Wiggins is racing hard in the Tour of Italy...
MTC's Bradley Wiggins continues to impress in the Giro d'Italia despite slipping a few places in the 10th stage of the race. Bradley, who is riding as part of the Garmin Slipstream team, has already demonstrated his ability to keep pace with the leaders in the climbing stages and currently lies 42nd in the overall standings. Having made the transition from the Velodrome to concentrate on road racing, Bradley will be looking forward to Thursday's 60.6km time trial in the hilly Cinque Terre area south of Genoa where he can show his all round ability in a touring format. More broadly, Bradley has expressed satisfaction with his performance so far and is hoping it stands him in good stead for the Tour de France in July.
(The 21 stage Giro d'Italia, which began on the 9th May and runs through to the 31st May covers over 3000km on its route from Lido Di Venezia to Rome.)
