Danny's Brush With The Law...
Danny Steele – fearless, inventive film reporter or…. madder than a box of frogs?
Being cautioned by the police and held in one of their luxuriously appointed vans with 2 community officers may not be everyone's idea of a great afternoon out, but for Danny Steele (who was dressed at the time in full St Trinians Headmaster costume) it was a walk in the park. Albeit a short walk in the park as the community police officers stopped him after a few minutes and confiscated his footage of the premiere of St Trinians 2 in Leicester Square.
Danny said to reporters, "I didn't mind being collared by the cops, what i did mind was one of them saying 'with your mouth you should be on the telly' How horribly ironic i thought. I still haven't seen St Trinians 2 and now have a fear of Headmasters."
