Jenny Victorious In Hengelo
Jenny Meadows continued her fantastic start to the season with a second victory in the Fanny Blankers-Koen Games in Hengelo.
Jenny, World 800m bronze medallist, sprinted away from the pack with 200 metres to go to win the women's 800 metre race. Jenny put in a commanding performance, beating fellow Brit Emma Jackson into the silver medal position and notching up her second big victory of the year.
Jenny dipped under the two minute mark to record the 5th fastest 800m time in the world this year, crossing the line in 1.59.76 minutes.
