Keri-Anne Claims 10km Victory
Keri-Anne Payne has won her first international open water race of the year…
MTC's Olympic silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne claimed victory in the women's 10 kilometres race at the LEN Open Water Cup in Israel over the weekend.
Despite the hot conditions, Keri-Anne adopted similar techniques that saw her take her Olympic medal in Beijing and was in the leading pack from the start. This is a particularly splendid result for Keri-Anne with the team for the World Championships in Rome later this year being announced this week based on the results of the LEN Open Water Cup meet.
