Lizzie Out Of World Champs
Lizzie Armitstead is forced to pull out of the Track Cycling World Championships due to injury.
We are sorry to announce that unfortunately World Cup winner Lizzie Armitstead will no longer be attending the UCI Track Cycling World Championships due to a side strain. The team doctor has confirmed that she is responding well to treatment and a full recovery is expected, but not in time for the World Championships.
We wish Lizzie all the best with her recovery and hope to see her back on the track soon.
