Lizzie Short Listed For Awards…
Lizzie Armitstead has been short listed for the Young Sportswoman of the Year Award
The news is of little surprise considering the season Lizzie has had. Most notable highlights include winning two gold medals at the Copenhagen round of the Track World Cup, a World Championship title in the team pursuit in Poland and securing a new deal to ride for the Cervelo Test Team.
The winner will be announced at The Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year Awards ceremony on 3rd November at the David Beckham Academy in London.
