MTC Cyclists In Action
David Daniell and Lizzie Armitstead are to compete in the Beijing World Cup this weekend…
David, a silver medallist at the Commonwealth Games last year, will be competing in the team sprint alongside Peter Mitchell and Phillip Hindes, who makes his World Cup debut. The 22 year old will be looking for a strong performance in a discipline that has seen him win World and European junior gold medals in previous years.
Lizzie, who competes in the Omnium, is returning to the track after a successful road season in which she clinched stage wins at two of the toughest women's races - the Tour de l'Aude and Tour de l'Ardeche, the latter of which she managed to claim three stages.
We wish both David and Lizzie the best of luck.
