Paul Scoops Top Award
Paul Goodison won the top prize of the night at the fourth annual Skandia Team GBR Awards Dinner as he was awarded the British Olympic Association’s Athlete of the Year Award for sailing.
The unstoppable Laser sailor picked up the prestigious award on Friday in recognition to a remarkable 2009 which saw Paul add the World and European titles to his Olympic gold from Beijing 2008. Paul won five of the six regattas he sailed in during 2009 and is undoubtedly the best in his division.
Everybody here at MTC congratulates Paul on yet another outstanding achievement.
