Victory For Jenny In Shanghai
Jenny Meadows blew away her competitors in a magnificent run at the Diamond League meeting in Shanghai.
Jenny, current World and European bronze medallist, stormed to victory in the 800m with a time of 2:00:55. Jenny sat on the shoulder of pacemaker Olga Soldatova before taking the lead with 300m remaining.
Jenny proved too strong for her rivals, striding away from the rest of the field to a comfortable win. With a storming final 100m Jenny won by almost a full second, recording the 4th fastest time of the year.
