Wiggo Wins Time Trials…

Congratulations to Bradley Wiggins who outclassed the opposition to take the British Time Trial title in Buckinghamshire yesterday

Wiggins was a class apart in a strong field as he completed the 31.2 mile course in 1hr 02 mins 15 seconds - over two minutes ahead of reigning champion Michael Hutchinson and nearly four minutes ahead of third-placed Newton. The victory means Wiggins will now be afforded the right to wear his national colours during any time trial race for the next 12 months.

As predicted, the race served as the perfect warm up for his for his forthcoming assault on the world time-trial championship in Switzerland later this month;

"The worlds is the focus of my late season and I needed a flat-out ride in the nationals by way of preparation," said Wiggins

Bradley is arguably in the form of his life as he enters a busy period of competition starting with the Tour of Britain this Saturday.
