World's Squad Announced
MTC Athletes included in World Championship squad
UK Athletics Chief Charles van Commenee has announced his squad for the World Championships in Berlin which contains a strong MTC presence.
Phillips Idowu and Germaine Mason will both be aiming to go one better than their silver medals gained at last years Olympics whereas Berlin represents the first opportunity for Perri Shakes-Drayton to test her ability in a World championship at senior level.
Sprinters Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Craig Pickering have been selected for the 4x100m relay team and Lee McConnell has also been chosen for her relay abilities in the women's 4x400m.
