Brendan Cole Races At Silverstone

Raising funds for the Bobby Moore charity

After an incredibly busy few months, on the road with his tour Brendan Cole : Live and Unjudged, then getting married and going on honeymoon, Brendan is finally back in the country and in one place. But not for long!

Brendan has recently gained his racing driver's license, to enable him to participate in a celebrity racing challenge this Friday, 23^rd July, all in aid of the Bobby Moore cancer charity, which Brendan is helping to raise funds for.

Brendan says, "Can you believe it...I'm now a qualified race driver and yes, I have a licence to prove it! Loving motorsport, and having the chance to drive the Silverstone Grand Prix Track in a proper car race is just incredible and one I never really thought possible. The opportunity to do so and raise cash and awareness for Cancer Research UK, in particular the Bobby Moore Fund really feels like such a great thing to be doing.

A lot of time and effort has gone into making this particular race at the Silverstone Classic a very special thing and I'm honoured to be taking part for all those that have made it happen. Having an opportunity like this is very exciting and the fact that thousands of pounds will be raised is just brilliant. I can't wait to don my suit and pretend to know what I'm doing!"
