MTC were 20 years young in December 2012. We’re extremely proud to have spent over two decades at the forefront of our industry. We’ve innovated, expanded, and challenged ourselves and others, all towards the goal of being the best at what we do.
We operate in one of the most challenging and competitive arenas and we’ve grown with the industry.
When we began in the early 1990s, the sports industry was an entirely different landscape.. MTC’s focus was on the entertainment and licensing market. Now we stand out with a unique offer in the corporate, media and commercial markets, specialising in sports, particularly – though not exclusively – Olympic sports.
We like to look forwards: on our 20th anniversary, we were satisfied in looking over our shoulders with nostalgia at some memorable achievements. What stands out has been the ability to diversify; to impose the same value-adding expertise and creativity into varying fields.
Among them, we’ve recently created and had commissioned a landmark children’s sports show for BBC, we’ve delivered successful licensing programmes for entertainment and music rights holders and we’ve brokered ground-breaking deals in the fashion, electronic gaming and fitness sectors, delivering long term results for clients who are genuine household names.
We emerged from London 2012 with an enhanced reputation and arguably the most unique blend of talent who delivered some of the nations’ most memorable moments, and working with some of the most exciting new talent who will be building on the record breaking success that gripped the country.
Representing GB’s first ever Tour de France winner who cemented his place in the Olympic hall of fame this summer could be hard to top in the next 20 years.
We’ve shared in the joy of discovering the emerging talents of Perri Shakes-Drayton, Jessica Ennis and Lizzie Armitstead. And in contrast, we celebrated returning from Sydney 2000 representing a third of Team GB’s Gold medallists.
All meaning we can enter the next decade of the MTC story in great shape….
