Currently presenting on Sky Sports News, Charlie also features on BBC1's Football Focus.  Over the past two motorsport seasons Charlie has been the lead reporter on Sky Sports' Live Speedway coverage and the voice of Channel 4's World Superbikes show, in addition to being the main presenter on Sky Sports' Speedway World Cup.  2010 saw Charlie reporting from the Goodwood Festival of Speed for Sky Sports live coverage of the event as well as presenting the UK School Games with Iwan Thomas; a Sunset & Vine production for Channel 4.

Following her Language and Linguistics degree at University, Charlie started out her career as a professional model.  She landed her first job in TV when she was snapped up by MTV as an entertainment reporter.   After a successful stint with MTV, interviewing international superstars like Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder, Charlie seized the opportunity to break into the industry where her real passion lies - sport.  Charlie became the face of Real Madrid International TV,  travelling worldwide interviewing the ‘Galacticos' and fronting many of their commercial activities such as the award-winning Adidas ‘Impossible is Nothing' brand campaign with David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane.

In 2006, her success at Real Madrid TV led ESPN and Star Sports to appoint her as the first ever live female football presenter in Asia, cementing her place in history. Recognising Charlie's wide ranging talents, ESPN and Star Sports utilised them fully across the entire sporting spectrum as she became the main anchor for their live Premier League coverage, whilst also covering Motorsport, Golf and Basketball, resulting in Charlie reporting to a global audience in excess of 350 million.  Cool, composed and articulate even when interviewing some of the biggest icons on the planet, Charlie's reputation as an exciting yet  safe pair of hands saw her return to the UK in 2007 to join Setanta where she fronted their live sports news coverage ITV Sports' GP2.

Given her versatility, the natural progression for Charlie was to became a freelance sports broadcast journalist and to mark the occasion, her first in-depth interview was with F1's youngest ever world champion, Lewis Hamilton! Broadcast on the BBC, the interview received glowing reports and she was subsequently employed by the BBC as their chief sports correspondent for BBC Look East, whilst ITV continued their relationship with her as she was selected to present their coverage of the Red Bull Air Races in 2009.

Bright and articulate and with a background in language and writing, Charlie is an excellent communicator both on and off the screen.  Her natural ability and experience in live broadcasting lend her perfectly for the corporate environment and she is a confident and experienced host and speaker, as well as an insightful facilitator. She has recently hosted and spoken at the RCM obesity seminar, Women's Aid ‘real man' campaign dinner and the London Football Coaches Association dinner which included hosting a Q&A with Sir Trevor Brooking, Gareth Southgate, Bob Wilson and Chris Coleman.

A qualified personal trainer and bona fide fitness fanatic, Charlie's passion is to encourage more and more people to become active and get involved with sport.  Her generous nature coupled with her drive to challenge herself has led to her running 6 marathons to date, fundraising for charities including the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research, Women's Aid Federation of England and the Special Olympics in Asia.  Charlie also helped train autistic athletes as part of her work with the Special Olympics.

Charlie is a lifelong Sheffield United fan and a regular columnist for skysports.com http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,18375_6660654,00.html and Football UK http://www.football.co.uk/blogs/index.shtml as well as being a weekly columnist for the Sheffield Star.
