Presenter,
Trisha Goddard - Five,
The Trisha Show - ITV,
Families at War - Five,
City Talk FM.

Trisha can currently been seen on her ever popular talk show Trisha Goddard daily on Five.  In late 2004 Trisha left ITV and the successful The Trisha Show and set up her own production company Town House TV.  She went on to present Britain's Psychic Challenge and a prime time series called Families at War both for Channel Five.  Often unseen by the public, Trisha has a great sense of humor and has enjoyed various TV appearances including hosting The Friday Night Project, guesting on 8 out of 10 cats , Celebrity Ding Dong and Have I Got News For You among others.  She has also presented the RTS Programme Awards and chaired the RTS workshop on Diversity in Television.

An Unknown face to British viewers Trisha arrived at Anglia in September 1998 to become ITV's new Queen of Chat. She was immediately plunged into a hectic round of studio recordings five days a week for The Trisha Show.  The British public took her to their hearts and her show became a ratings winner from the outset.  Despite her anonymity in Britain, Trisha was ideally qualified for her new role. She had lived and worked in Australia for 13 years as a TV reporter/presenter and government advisor on mental health. She is also trained in conflict resolution, a distinct asset when dealing with guests on her show who were at loggerheads.

A real people person, Trisha has huge sensitivity and a genuine caring nature.  This meant she was a perfect host for Home for Christmas an ITV special in which she reunited long lost friends and families and Celebrity Heartbreak an hour-long prime time programme also for ITV in which celebrities including George Best, Colleen Nolan and Patsy Palmer revealed how they coped with very public breakups.

Until recently, Trisha presented a two hour talk based Liverpool radio show for City Talk FM where she interviewed a diverse range of guests including celebrities, survivors, outspoken authors, burlesque dancers and the broken hearted.  A woman of the people Trisha writes a weekly column for the Eastern Daily Press Magazine.

Despite being diagnosed with breast cancer early in 2008 Trisha continued filming and keeping up with her other work commitments throughout chemotherapy and radiotherapy and was given the all clear in March 09.  At the time she was writing her autobiography As I am out at the end of this year, in which she made the discovery that her Dad was not actually her biological father and spoke about her battle with cancer.

Trisha first worked in Public Relations in Australia. Shortly after, her television career took off as a guest presenter for Channel Ten's children's show, Off the Dish. She then when on to become a news and current affairs reporter for SBS TV in 1986 and in the following year became a popular presenter with Australia's Play School for ten years. During this time, she also landed the prestigious job of presenter on ABC's primetime current affairs programme, 7.30 Report - so becoming the first black anchorwoman on Australian TV.

Trisha left the 7.30 Report to establish and present the prime time show Everybody and soon afterwards started her own production company, devising, producing and presenting over 400 programmes.

Following personal experience of mental illness within her family, Trisha became a Mental Health activist, wanting to get better services for Australian people with mental illness. As a result the Australian Government made her chair of arguably the most powerful Mental Health Body: The National Consumer Advisory Group on Mental Health. Over the next 10 years in this role, she was to instigate and chair many high profile National projects.  Trisha is currently actively involved in a number of charities in the UK including Home-Start and Mind.

Trisha Goddard can currently be seen as the host of the Trisha Goddard show on Five, having previously hosted The Trisha Show for many years (until late 2004) on ITV. She is quite justifiably known as the queen of confessional TV, and through many of her own personal experiences, was always able to talk to her guests with a great degree of sincerity and compassion.

Trisha lived and worked in Australia for 13 years as a TV reporter / presenter, and having left many of her friends there when she moved to England, still maintains ties Down Under.

A particular field of interest for Trisha is mental health, and she spent 10 years as Chair of the National Consumer Advisory Group on Mental Health in Australia, along with her work as a patron of mental health charity MIND, since 2003. Trisha has also been a local patron of Home-Start charity since its inception in 1999.
